In a previous article, I mentioned how to boost your wifi signal. In this article, I am going to show you how to boost your Ethernet speed. First, unplug your Ethernet cable (the one that goes from your computer to your router). Then take some copper wire (you can get it cheap at Home Depot, Radioshack, or Jamaco) and wrap it firmly around the cable. Once you have covered the cable in copper wire (or any type of conductive metal), take some heat-shrink tubing and slide it on. You can get heat shrink tubing from almost any computer, electrical, or hardware store. Then take something that makes lots of heat (DO NOT put it in the oven or microwave.). The best method is to take a soldering iron and hold it close to the tubing but do not let it touch the tube. Once the tubing has shrunk to firmly hold it together, plug it back in. And just like with the wifi signal booster, this does not get you more bars, it just helps prevent packet loss so it speeds stuff up by a few secconds. Have fun!

ReplyDeleteI was going through your post, just thought of a proposition. I am associated with top and leading brands in India and abroad. I feel if we enter into online partnerships, we can add value on both ends and the deals would be mutually beneficial to both of us.
Looking for your reply.
