Wireless Network Watcher - Who's on my network?

Have you ever suspected that your Wi-Fi has been hacked and someone is eating up your precious bandwidth? Tracking down the culprit in person may be difficult and awkward, but simply banning them using Wireless Network Watcher is a piece of cake. WNW is an actively developed program by NirSoft that was developed with the specific intention of showing information about clients on your Wi-Fi network. You can get it for free from http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/wireless_network_watcher.html. Once you run it you can see a breakdown of all clients on a network. When you find the culprit, you can copy the IP address and put it on your router's blacklist (see the instruction manual that came with your router for more details). While being a relatively simple program, it has powerful capabilities to look up detailed information about other users on a network. This is also a great program to add to your emergency tech toolkit. If you download the .zip instead of the .exe, you can extract the program to a flash drive, so it's ready to go when your network goes out.

Blank Security Systems

For all of you folks with a genuine interest in home security, you won’t need me to tell you that it is important to make sure you’ve got the latest security systems. The same goes for anyone trying to lock down their commercial or industrial premises. Fortunately, Blank Security Systems have an excellent range of advanced security systems which make use of the state of the art features and technology. If you don't live in the UK you are kind of out of luck for in-house installation, but they do have a very responsive online customer support to help with setup. Some standard options they offer are HD CCTV and CCTV over IP. These are things that you would expect with any security installation. Some surprises that they offer are license plate recognition, facial recognition, people count, and vehicle count. They also offer very cheap and powerful servers to host the video for later use (hopefully not in court). They also offer an excellent customer support in case your IT department took the day off. And best of all, they offer some of the most competitive costs in setup and running costs. The only cheaper solutions are the DIY ones (I would love to hear it if you built an security system that can do all of the above for less than $75). Be sure to check out their website at www.blanksecurity.co.uk and get a free quote. Have fun!

Be sure to +1 and like this article on Facebook. And don't forget to share it with your friends or your building's security manager. If you want me to feature your tech related company or product here, go to fiverr.com/users/ARMmaster17 and click on my gig. Have Fun!
