Gooveshark is offline

To those of you who landed here from a search for why Grooveshark, or in relation to my previous Tech Wars article about Grooveshark. The popular music streaming service is facing downtime. The company has offered no comment on what went wrong, but has simply said they will be performing maintenance for a few days. However, according to a few pages that flashed on my screen before it attempted to load Grooveshark, It appears the site is trying to block itself from a DDoS attack. Several pages with the CloudFlare logo showed some text about a DDoS filter (I didn't have time to read it all). Anyways this information is not official. I have no data proving that Grooveshark got hacked or anything. This is just merely an explanation of why Grooveshark is down.
