For part 1, I would like you to start going to blender.org and watch some videos to get an idea of what kind of game you would like to create. Then go to my other site (link in previous post) and read up. Then, keep watching for a post particular to you (the posts are now being split). Blend up something awesome!!!
P.S. keep watch, I might host a game development contest in the near future.
